John, an Engineering Technologist, has has been consulting, contracting and managing various projects in the technology industry in Alberta for over 25 years. In 1986 John founded Skye Communications, the first dedicated Postscript pre-press service bureau in Alberta and one of the first in Canada. By focusing on automation, communication, and technology management John was able to help Skye excel at meeting and exceeding its goals. Skye was sold in the mid 90's and since that time John has applied his knowledge to the management of networks and systems as well as unique projects requiring new approaches and new technology. Many of John's projects include aspects of the diverse experience he has gained in many areas including but not limited to: instrumentation, engineering, heavy equipment design, field engineering for the oil well stimulation industry in Alberta, materials management, document management systems, offset printing and prepress systems, graphic design systems, CAD systems, image scanning and conversion systems, project management, network design and management, business automation software and systems and custom application development.

Gord joined Vestrion in 2002 as a Web Application Developer. Since that time he has completed several projects including a web based PDF document management system for Petro-Canada, a web based content management system for Calgary based Topline Printing, a secure document mailing management system for Ross Smith Energy Group and a complete redesign of Vestrion's own website as well as several small web based projects for other clients. Gord's formal education includes a Diploma in Computer Technology majoring in Information Systems from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 2002 and a Diploma in Printing Management Technology also received from S.A.I.T. in 1991. While at S.A.I.T. Gord learned many technical and non-technical skills including structured software development and analysis, project and time management, technical communication, teamwork and conflict management. Gord brings to Vestrion over ten years of technical experience in the Graphic Design and Printing industries working for companies such as Skye Communications, Topline Printing and Adobe Systems and plans to use the knowledge he has gained to build cutting edge Web based business applications for clients from these and other industries.

Ken joined Vestrion in 2004 as a Web Application Developer, bringing with him nearly ten years of experience in Web development. He has worked with organizations like Family Services Employee Assistance Programs (FSEAP), where he developed the Web based front-end for their nationwide agencies database, and the Alberta Environmental Network, where he rebuilt and managed their web site. Ken's skills in database management, systems analysis, and programming help Vestrion deliver the cutting edge Web based business applications its clients have come to expect. Ken holds a B.Sc. in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Computer Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
